Keeping Self-Support Simple on Social Media
Al-Anon WSO, the World Service Office’s (WSO’s) social media profile, regularly receives comments on our posts from questionable profiles attempting to lure people into sending them friend requests or clicking on suspicious links. Although WSO Staff deletes the comments and blocks the profiles, we cannot remove all possible harm. That’s where practicing self-support online comes into play for individual members. How can you do this? That’s easy! “Keep It Simple” by not clicking links or sending or accepting friend requests from people you do not know.
